For the price, I was pleased. I really just wanted the cheapest possible room near the bar my boyfriend’s band was playing. But I was impressed that they offered a free shuttle and the staff was very helpful.

This may not be the Hilton but located within blocks of the Riverwalk and walking distance to the downtown entertainment district you will pay a cool $100.00 for an updated room with the standard amenities. The rooms are a touch on the small side but what set them apart is the updated features in both the main room and bathroom I literally couldn't wait to go play with the shower. Service counter : Gentleman was extremely friendly asked questions and engaged me while doing the check in process. Found him to be efficient and was curious enough to wave me deposit. Thank you Monir for making my firdt stay with you enjoyable and I look forward to staying with you again. One noticeable critique. I won't mark you down for it as I am unsure if it's affiliated with your motel. The attached restaurant in your building was locked, uninviting and stayed cash only. Part of the reason we booked was the advertisement of on site food. Not to worry guys plenty to eat within walking distance can anyone say Applebee's and IHOP?? Check out the great grocery market (accepts SNAP) about 3 to 4 blocks away to fill the fridge with them midnight munchies 😁😁😁 Josh and Robin

We had a nice stay at the Rivertown Inn, our room was clean, the beds were comfortable, the breakfast options were fresh and a good selection of items. All staff we encountered were courteous, helpful, and professional. Definitely returning back when I visit Detroit.

I've been coming here for years. The rooms are clean, not expensive at all except when there's event in town and that's usually on the weekends like every other hotel in a big city and it's in downtown Detroit. It has a restaurant attached to call the Clique restaurant and the food is absolutely delicious. It's a great place to stay if you're not focus on all the extras like room service and other things you get at bigger hotels. It's a great place to stay if you're visiting the city for business, an event or on a staycation and plan to out and about in downtown Detroit and just a good place to sleep and relax.

Got to this hotel and it stunk like cigarettes but we brought Lysol spray and it went away. The rooms were actually very nice and very large windows. Free breakfast was amazing too. Well done!

We chose this hotel after car trouble while visiting Detroit and couldn't believe our luck at how wonderful and accommodating the manager Andy and his staff would be. The rooms are well equipped and clean. The restaurant was very handy as we were without a car at a time when lots of things are closing. The hotel provided a shuttle service for us to go purchase new tires at a nearby shop and was very gracious with a late checkout time as we had tons of luggages. We can't thank you enough.

All the reviews are way too harsh! Came over for the first time since Covid to go to the tigers game. Room worked perfect for what we needed. No complaints. The make your own waffles were pretty good. Rooms looked much cleaner then pics on here and new furniture maybe? Overall good.

I’m convinced the bad reviewers have never heard of a budget motel before. No, it isn’t a resort stay, but it’s a comfy bed near the city with super friendly staff and everything you need. They apparently even have a shuttle to get around but we didn’t use that, because there are lots of walkable locations from here, including a great bus stop directly in front of the stay. I know I already said it, but I have to reiterate - the staff are SO kind.

I've stayed here a few times since it changed to Quality Inn. It's quiet with clean rooms, comfy beds and pillows. The front desk staff have been very friendly and accommodating.
